Recently learned of a resource for Veterans in Arkansas with a mission worth sharing.
Feed the Veterans is a food pantry for Veterans and Military only that is set up like a grocery store! The Only Requirement is proof of military service… DD Form 214 or VA Healthcare I.D. card or Military I.D. card.
In their own words… “Why We Are So Unique: We have worked hard to try to make it easy on our Veterans. We do NOT ask about their income, their school district, or even what county and city they reside in. We are open to ALL Veterans throughout the state of Arkansas. One of many unique things about us is that we do not distribute pre-packed food boxes. Instead, Veterans use a grocery cart to pick whatever they want and however many items* they need to hold them through the end of the month. We trust our Veterans to be honest and considerate of others. *Some items do have quantity limits due to the fact they are difficult to obtain through donations.”
